Dr. Robert Samuel Langer, the 2014 Kyoto Prize laureate in Advanced Technology, has been selected as one of this year’s winners of the Kavli Prize in Nanoscience, the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters announced.
Congratulations to Dr. Langer for the great honor!
The award recognizes his “foundational research integrating synthetic nanoscale materials for biomedical use.”
The Kavli Prize, inaugurated in 2008 by the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research, and the Kavli Foundation (USA), is awarded every other year to scientists who have made outstanding achievements in three fields: astrophysics, nanoscience, and neuroscience.
